Cher – Backup Singer No More

Cher's wildly successful journey began when she left  the Central Valley to seek her break in Hollywood at just 16, and she briefly worked odd jobs until she met Sonny Bono, who offered to let her stay in the extra bed in his apartment. He got her a job as backup singer with groups like the Ronettes and the Crystals, and then she and Sonny created their first act, Caesar and Cleo.
